making sense of place economics

Sleaford's Masterplan

Back to Projects

Setting the long term direction for a strategically located and growing market town in Lincolnshire has been the task for a multi-disciplinary team of economists, designers and commercial advisers. Significant growth over the last 30 years has resulted in the town's commercial core no longer being fit for purpose, with large scale turnover leakage and creaking infrastructure. A long term masterplan, developed in conjunction with a newly formed Regeneration Partnership, has identified practical and achievable ways of overcoming these issues, largely facilitated by the private sector, whilst also delivering a further phase of residential growth for the town to support policy objectives.
