complex arrangements of potentially overlapping partnerships.
GENECON can help to review local strategy and delivery
partnership structures, improve local delivery efficiencies and
enable agencies to better utilise local capacity to support place
making and economic development.
We have:
- prepared RGF Scheme Delivery Plans for business growth
programmes in Northumberland, Nottingham and Hastings;
- reviewed the performance of 'Blueprint', a local asset-backed
vehicle in the East Midlands;
- led the establishment, evaluation and transition of Urban
Regeneration and Economic Development Companies, including in
Leicestershire, Derby, Sunderland, Bradford and Cumbria;
- advised on the transition of special purpose delivery companies
established by RDAs, including SEEDA's Brownfield Land Assembly
Company (BLAC) and East Kent Spatial Development Company;
- developed business cases for Local Asset Backed Vehicles,
including the South East England Property vehicle and a North East
Property Fund;
- advised on Business Improvement District establishment across
the North West;
- advised on local service improvements including for city centre
management in Bradford and regeneration delivery in the Black
Country.
