Future local growth requires innovative solutions. But key
project proposals need to be fully tested in terms of feasibility,
market and cost risks and delivery prospects.
GENECON has wide experience of reviewing project proposals and
developing fully researched feasibility studies and business
cases.
We have:
- prepared successful Enterprise Zone business cases in
Blackpool, Leeds, Derby, Sheffield and the Humber;
- reviewed the business case for projects included in Derby City
Council's £40m Regional Growth Fund programme;
- prepared business cases for infrastrucutre projects to support
South East 'Growth Corridors';
- prepared the business case for major mixed use regeneration,
such as Sheffield's New Retail Quarter, Hastings Priory Quarter and
Southampton's Northern Above Bar;
- researched the feasibility of business incubation facilities,
including Tower Works in Leeds, Barnsley's Digital Media
Centre and Low Carbon Business Centres in Scarborough and
Rotherham;
- developed business plans and financial projections for new
visitor and community facilities, such as the Turner Gallery in
Margate and the Everyman Theatre in Liverpool.
